Maternity Services

When your big day arrives, you can count on the dedicated team at Forrest City Medical Birthing Center for family-oriented care that’s responsive to your needs and preferences. We’ll make your special moment even more memorable with a private room, dedicated OB nurses, comfortable amenities, and a celebratory meal. It’s all here and close to home, at Forrest City Medical Birthing Center – where families are born.

The secure birthing center includes two labor and delivery rooms where families can experience childbirth in an environment that encourages total family participation (according to the new mother’s wishes). There are five postpartum beds and rooming in is encouraged.

Visiting hours are liberal, but also designed to provide new mothers with needed rest and bonding time with their newborns. There are no visiting restrictions for fathers.

The Birthing Center offers:

  • Spacious Labor & Delivery Rooms
  • Nursery capable of handling unexpected emergencies
  • Mother/baby (post-partum) private rooms with large windows
  • Breastfeeding support
  • New parent education
  • Nursing staff skilled in maternal child care
