FORREST CITY MEDICAL CENTER EARNS INPATIENT QUALITY INCENTIVE AWARD
FORREST CITY, Ark., Jan.21, 2025–Forrest City Medical Center (FCMC) has been recognized by Arkansas Medicaid and the Arkansas Foundation for consistent participation in the Inpatient Quality Incentive (IQI) program and for its outstanding efforts to improve the health of Arkansans.
“Forrest City Medical Center is honored to receive this recognition from Arkansas Medicaid and the Arkansas Foundation,” said Robert Rupp, CEO of Forrest City Medical Center. “This award underscores our commitment to providing quality care. We are proud to be part of a program that prioritizes continuous improvement.”
The IQI program, a collaboration between Arkansas Medicaid, the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC), and the Arkansas Hospital Association, was established in 2006 to reward hospitals for improving the quality of care provided to Medicaid patients. Based on a pay-for-performance model, the program assesses quality through specific metrics and awards financial incentives to hospitals demonstrating significant improvements in health outcomes.
Forrest City Medical Center has participated in the IQI program since its inception 18 years ago.
